Compassionate Christian Ministries Community Ex-Offender Services
Ninety percent of inmates are released to return to their communities. Within four years of release, 3 out of 4 will be backin prison, most for crimes committedduring the first three weeks after theirrelease. As taxpayers, we pay an average of $20,000/year per inmate to keep someone incarcerated. We know that people come out of prison only to commit more crimes, getting stuck in the cycle of crime/prison/release. If the answer is not building more prisons, then what is the answer? It is our firm belief that the most hardened criminal, or troubled youth offender can be touched and changed forever by the saving grace and love of Jesus Christ. CCM has a number ofservices to help our men and womenre-entering society.
